A cushion is a square with its corners softened and its facets opened out. The light it returns is warmer and slower than a modern brilliant gives, closer to the way stones were cut a century ago.
Pave shoulders finish it the way a period ring would have been finished.
The band is set with a row of small stones along each shoulder, bead set by hand so the metal itself holds them and no prong is visible. You choose what those stones are.
Moissanite accents. Moissanite returns more light than a diamond of the same size and is hard enough to be worn every day. At the size used on the shoulders the difference between the two materials cannot be seen, which is why most people choose it.
Lab grown diamond accents. One material throughout, shoulders included. The choice for anyone who wants the entire ring to be diamond.
The center stone is the same either way: a lab grown diamond, E to F color, VVS2 clarity, supplied with its own IGI or GIA report. Accent stones are matched by hand and are not certified individually, which is standard at this size.
